Yes, you read that correctly. The Plantz’s - we’re moving! No, not down the street. Not across town, either - but to a completely different state! Yes - we are leaving sunny Florida for, well, North Carolina. It’s not the ‘north’ per-say, but it’s definitely north of Florida. And for those who have acclimated themselves with 90-degree summers and 70-degree winters, it should prove to be quite a change…

BUT - it’s a change we are very much looking forward to. Although it all appears quite sudden, it’s something God has been working out for quite some time now. And 2010 was apparently the time to put everything into motion. So, like that, we are heading up to North Carolina to serve at a church called Salem Chapel (www.salemchapel.org) -  a church my high school youth pastor, Josh Lindstrom (teaching pastor), helped start.

Josh is a gifted preacher and leader and I can’t wait to serve alongside him. And, this may sound weird to many of you, but I also can’t wait to follow him. Like I said, he’s a great teacher, but he’s also a fantastic leader and I’m really looking forward to taking direction from him and learning much from him. He really loves Jesus, so this makes all of this following and learning stuff much easier than it may sound…

All of this should prove to be one of the more fruitful seasons of ministry that my wife and I will experience and we can’t wait for it to get underway.
